工作内容：
1.负责社科类图书的选题策划、编辑加工、营销推广等工作；
2.参与策划图书的周边产品的开发；
3.维护好作者、译者与出版社的关系等；
4.领导交办的其他事项。
职位要求：
1.两年以上编辑岗位经验（优秀应届生此条可放宽）；
2.精通英语，爱好阅读，对图书有一定的感觉；
3.硕士优先，具有较强的选题策划能力可适当放宽。

Shanghai Translation Publishing House is the largest comprehensive publishing house in China specializing in translation, mainly publishing translations of foreign literary and commercial fiction, humanities and social science as well as reference and all kinds of bilingual dictionaries.

The English-Chinese Dictionary (Second Edition) compiled by STPH is the best English-Chinese dictionary published in China so far; it has won the First National Book Award of China. New English-Chinese Dictionary is a bestseller of bilingual dictionaries published in China; its accumulative sales exceed 13 million copies. And Japanese-Chinese Dictionary, French-Chinese Dictionary, New French-Chinese Dictionary, New German-Chinese Dictionary and Cobuild English-Chinese Dictionary are all reference books with first-rate quality in China. STPH has published educational materials for learning foreign languages including English, French, German, Russian and Japanese, and related multimedia products as well.
Children’s Books Center of Shanghai Translation Publishing House (CBC) was founded in Nov. 2017. It is a new department of STPH, and focuses on publishing for readers of 0-12 years old. CBS has launched titles of local and foreign children’s literature, in which, worldwide classic children’s books like Charlotte’s Web, Stuart Little, The Trumpet of the Swan, and Le Petit Prince are elaborately selected for children. CBS has invited several famous translators who specialized in children’s literature translation, including Ren Rongrong, Peng Yi, and Zhou Kexi, to take charge of the translation quality. This new department of STPH will devote to bring diverse culture to children in China.
It has always been STPH’s practice to honor the rights of overseas authors. The House has been engaging in co-publishing projects with foreign publishers since 1988. And in 1990, when China was not yet a member country of the Berne Convention and Universal Copyright Convention, it bought the rights to publish the translated version in simplified Chinese characters the novel SCARLET, sequel to GONE WITH THE WIND. Because of their pioneering moves, STPH has won international appreciations in publishing circles all over the world.
Co-published with Hearst Communications Inc. USA, STPH’s ELLE-CHINA, as the first monthly fashion magazine in China, Car & Driver, and ELLE Decoration, all have great influence in respective field.
STPH has under it many experienced editors who have a good command of one or more world’s major languages including English, French, Russian, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Arabic etc. Most translators and authors are of great attainments both in languages and professional knowledge.
